Since 2006 ABB is a member of the supervisory board of the International Department, the parent company of the HECTOR School. In this position, ABB influences also teaching topics. This is particularly supportive in the design of Management of Product Development, which stays industry-oriented and adapted to the latest developments.

The first participant from ABB was in the year 2005 in Management of Product Development. Others followed in Energy Engineering and Management, Production and Operations Management, and both focal points of Mobility Systems Engineering and Management: communication by electronic systems as well as alternative drive systems.
