The elective focus area "Global Production and Distribution Systems" represents the last engineering module of the master's program Production and Operations Management. Taking place at the KIT branch in Suzhou near Shanghai in China, to many students it marks the highlight of the program.
A wealth of knowledge, practice and personal encounters
The module is composed of compact knowledge transfer in lectures, case studies as well as excursions and company tours. The latter will provide participants with profound insights into the practical implementations in a Chinese production environment. Students will not only acquire state-of-the-art knowledge on-site, but also benefit from useful exchange with professionals and executives working in China.
